    GENERAL

I'm thinking about joining, can I come to the club for a visit or a trial?

Absolutely. If you are thinking of joining and would like to visit, please contact the Secretary on secretary@royalascottennis.com and they can arrange a time and someone to show you around, and /or try the courts.

How do I book a court?

We use Clubspark to book our courts with a link directly from our website with login details being your own individual LTA user name and password. You can also use the "Clubspark Booker" App available on mobile devices to book courts, using the same LTA username and password.

I don't know any other members. How do I arrange a game?

Each new member is welcomed to the club by our Head coach who will find out your personal requirements, assess your level and arrange contact will relevant groups which are all run by WhatsApp.

Can I bring a guest to the club?

We welcome guests to our club max 6 times a calendar year. Guest fees are paid via the link under membership section on our website.

I've left something at the club. Where can I find lost property?

Lost property storage is kept in the clubhouse changing rooms. If you believe you have left something, then please look here first.

Do you sell balls and other equipment?

We do not have a shop on site but all tennis equipment can be sourced by our Head coach who also has tennis balls and rackets you can buy.

    TENNIS

How often can I book a court, and for how long is each booking?

Members can book one court per day up to 90 mins per session. Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance.

Do you have an App for booking courts?

We do not have our own app, but members can use the "Clubspark Booker" available on app and play stores, and be sure to use the same LTA login and password that you used on signing up to your RATC membership.

I'd love to arrange some lessons. How do I do that?

How do I get to join in the Mix-In groups?

Our Head Coach will assess which session is relevant to you when you have your introduction on joining.

I don't have my own racket. Can I borrow one?

Yes of course, we can loan racquets and then will help with the purchase of a suitable racquet.

Can you restring my racket for me?

Yes we have a restringing service available through Hafeez Hameed. Visit the Racket Stringing page for more details.

    COACHING

What happens if a session is called off due to bad weather?

Lessons are on unless the weather is truly awful , heavy rain or snowing. The coach will inform the parents of players if the session is cancelled via email and a make up session will be arranged

I've booked a session that I now can't make. Can I have a refund?

Sessions for term time coaching are paid for in advance, if you cannot make a session please inform the coach. Unfortunately you cannot have a refund but we will try to find you an alternate slot where possible

I'd love to have some one-to-one lessons. How do I arrange that?

My Child doesn't have a racquet, can I borrow one?

Yes of course, we supply racquets and then will help with the purchase of a suitable size racquet.
